Read this book, loved it, absorbed it, and lovingly handed it to a neighbor who was experiencing some massive challenges in her life. I knew how it helped me turn my gears a few clicks, and hoped it good help her, as well. I have never heard this person express herself with such a positive attitude before she read The Bright Red Book of Happiness. Evidently, it turned a few clicks for her, and the changes that resulted have lasted! And now the best possible me; feels like sharing the news. And the work continues so that I can be an even better me, tomorrow.
This book has lots of ideas about how to improve your life by just taking charge of your thinking. The author put forth some ideas for doing this based on his own experience. He does not suggest that you do everything in just the same way he did but his experience gives you new ideas about how to improve your day to day life with just a few new innovations. His central suggestion – which he makes easy to apply – is take charge and get started.
This book has a surprising style. It’s based on an understanding that the reader needs small victories and must be continuously motivated in order to be successful. That style is so refreshing. I didn’t feel like I was being spoken to. It felt like a friend was gently guiding me through, but I was still in control of deciding what is best for me. It’s really a practical guide with goals that are achievable.
